Aiken Axler is a Piston Cup racer that appears in Cars. He is one of two racers for the Nitroade racing team, the other being Joltsen.

Aiken is a Lux Motors Co., specially designed for Piston Cup racing. He is painted black with an orange spoiler. He has the number 28 on his doors and roof and the Nitroade logo on his hood.

History

In Cars, Aiken is one of the thirty-six competitors in the final race of the 2005 season at the Motor Speedway of the South. Aiken is seen at a higher position, not too far behind Strip Weathers and Chick Hicks. After being involved in the large accident, Aiken receives small damages, but is able to continue racing, and he eventually finishes the race behind Weathers, Hicks, and Lightning McQueen.

He's finished 12th, 7th, and 8th in the final point standings over the past three years. Off the track, Axler enjoys maintaining his top racing form by exercising daily and practicing a form of meditation called Tai Rod. He and fellow Piston Cup Racer, Darrel Draggered, formed the alternative country jazz trio "Three Cycle" and performed at the 2004 Piston Cup awards ceremony!"[1]
