Edward Michael "Bear" Grylls (born June 7, 1974) is a British adventurer, writer and television presenter known for his roles in Man vs. Wild, The Island with Bear Grylls, Bear Grylls: Surviving the Island, and Running Wild with Bear Grylls. He provided the voice of Avalanche in the United Kingdom theatrical version of Planes: Fire & Rescue.
