History
In Cars, Brian and Artie are watching the footage of the tie-breaker race between Lightning McQueen, Chick Hicks, and Strip Weathers in a booth at the Los Angeles International Speedway. The two are surprised when they notice Doc Hudson as McQueen's crew chief, as he, previously known as the Fabulous Hudson Hornet, had not been seen in years.
