In Cars 3, Bruce Miller competes in the 2016 season of the Piston Cup. During the season he placed 11th at the Grandol Oil Co. Raceway. In the midseason, with the rise of the widely popular high-tech Next-Generation series of race cars, that had better achievements on the tracks, Bruce Miller was forced to stop competing in the Piston Cup by RPM was replaced with Barry DePedal.
