Mid-game

The Car-Finder is an interactive DVD game that was included on the Blu-Ray edition of the Cars movie.

Playing the Game

You would start out the game with a small menu on the screen, with several options. The main objective is to watch the entire movie, while trying to find all 217 cars in the Car Guide. If you miss a car, you can easily "rewind" and play back the scene as many times as you need to find that car. At any point in the game, you can go to the "Car Guide" where you will be given 13 pages of different characters' specifications, backstory and where that car appears in the movie. Once you unlock all 217 different cars, the game is considered "completed" and you may start a new game.

Trivia

• A goof: once you beat the game, when you are on the first stage again, your car menu is only characters from the flashback scene, instead of Piston Cup related characters. On Stage 2, you will get all of the Piston Cup racers, making it near impossible to complete the game.
