History

Chris competes in the 2016 Piston Cup season in Cars 3. He enters the season as a mid-season replacement for the previous Combustr racer, Chip Gearings, after he got fired. He debuts at the Heartland Motor Speedway, finishing in eleventh. He later appears at the Los Angeles 500 starting in fifth place next to Cam Spinner. He finishes the race in sixth place. In the Florida 500, he is seen starting in twenty-eighth place. After Cam Spinner causes the crash, Chris restarts in twenty-second position behind Eric Braker. Trivia

  • Right before McQueen's crash, he was directly trailing him, ahead of Tim Treadless, but then he disappeared just as the crash occurred, and Tim and Harvey Rodcap overtook him. Belief has it that Tim was fifth the whole time, and while he did come in fourth, there was another car lurking upon McQueen the whole time.
  • Chris Roamin' is named after Pixar employee Christian Roman.
