Dan Sclarkenberg is a news reporter for MPH 55 News. He appears in Cars, where a clip of MPH 55 News is shown during a collection of news organizations covering the loss of Lightning McQueen, whose whereabouts are unknown after his transporter, Mack, arrives at the Los Angeles International Speedway, but without the rookie race car in his trailer.
Sclarkenberg is a Park Motors Perk EX that is painted green. He has chrome rims, green mirrors, a black grille, and a license plate that reads "WE6WU".
