Earl Filter, also known as Chief Leak Less, is the crew chief for the Leak Less racing team, and assists Claude Scruggs in his attempts to win the Piston Cup races he competes in. He is a Haulital Lugnutter that is painted yellow, with the Leak Less logo on his hood. He has a grey grille, headlights, yellow rims, and wears a large black headset on his roof.
Earl makes an appearance at the Motor Speedway of the South in Cars, in the Leak Less section of the pit row.
