Erik Laneley is a race starter.

Bio

In Cars 2, Erik is the race starter that waves the flag to start the second race of the World Grand Prix in Porto Corsa.

Livery

Erik is painted white, with the World Grand Prix logo painted on his doors. He wears a black toupee on his roof, like Luigi.

Model

Erik is a Fiat 500. However, some of his die-casts have him as a Honda Civic.

His license plate reads 02-28.

Trivia

  • Erik's original diecast model depicted him as the correct Fiat model. However, the US release updated his art to show a Honda Civic card art. Strangely, this change was completely unnessecary due to the fact that Erik is a Fiat. The only part of the world that still receives shipments of the correct cards are in Europe.
