Movie Doubles was one of the earliest themed assortments in the Mattel Disney Pixar Cars line, and the first to be retailer-exclusive, sold exclusively at Toys R Us stores. The line consisted of 2-pack blister cards similarly to Movie Moments, but instead of pairing two characters who shared a movie scene together, they instead featured two variants of the same character. A first wave was released in 2007 during the Supercharged Series, with a second wave appearing later in 2008 during the World of Cars Series.
