The Disney Infinity is a series of toys-to-life video games created by Disney Interactive and Avalanche Software in 2013. It lets the player use figures of characters on a base to make them appear on-screen, including characters from the Cars series. The series was discontinued in June 2016, after Disney Interactive and Avalanche Software announced their shutdown in the previous month.

Disney Infinity | August 18, 2013 | The first game is included in a Starter Pack which also includes the base, a random Power Disc, a play set piece and three characters each representing Monsters University, The Incredibles and Pirates of the Caribbean. Other play sets, characters and Power Discs are sold separately, with the latter sold in blind packs of two each. The game's Play Set mode lets the player play one of the play sets made for the game, and requires at least one character belonging to that franchise to play it, while the Toy Box mode involves creating worlds with the items unlocked throughout the game, and allows every character to access it. |

Disney Infinity: 2.0 Edition | September 23, 2014 | This edition of Disney Infinity adds characters from the Marvel franchise, as well as extra Disney and Pixar characters, and an upgraded Toy Box mode. Two starter packs are available: the Marvel Super Heroes Starter Pack and the Toy Box Starter Pack. The play sets from the first game cannot be used, and everything introduced in the second game cannot be used in the first game. This game also sees the introduction of Toy Box Games, where the player uses characters from multiple franchises owned by different companies to complete games set in the Toy Box mode; and INterior, where the interiors of houses are created. |

Disney Infinity: 3.0 Edition | August 30, 2015 | This edition of Disney Infinity adds characters from the Star Wars franchise, along with more characters from Disney, Pixar and Marvel. The game is included in a starter pack with the Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic Play Set, although it can also be bought individually in the United Kingdom and Ireland. As with the previous games, any play sets from the first and second games cannot be used, and everything introduced in the third game cannot be used in the previous games. Unlike the Power Discs for the previous games, the ones for this game are sold in see-through packs of four each. Extra characters and play sets were added with the requirement of software updates installed. |

An augmented reality app called Disney Infinity: Action! was released around the time the first game was released, where users add animations of characters to their videos recorded on their phones and tablets. It was soon removed from app stores afterwards.
