Flip Dover[1] is a "next-gen" Piston Cup racer currently being sponsored by Intersection. He bears the number 00, the number previously used by Jimmy Cables. He has the Intersection logo painted on his hood, and the number 00 painted on his doors + roof and has a pink and white livery, the colors of the Intersection logo, and has the same looking Next-Gen model as Daniel Swervez.

History

Flip competes in the 2016 Piston Cup season in Cars 3. He enters the season as a mid-season replacement for the previous Intersection racer, Jimmy Cables. He debuts at the Heartland Motor Speedway, finishing in 26th. He later appears at the Florida 500 starting in 7th place. He finishes the race in 9th place. In the end credits he is seen with Daniel Swervez pranking cruz by inflating her tires.

Personality

Much of Flip's personality is unknown, like for most background characters. But he does seem to have a comedic and kind personality as shown when him and Daniel Swervez were pranking Cruz Ramirez.
