Gus is a character from the Cars Magazine N.14, comic 1.
Bio
Gus, better known as The Magnificent Gus O'Line, used to be a great racer, and he would race alongside The Fabulous Hudson Hornet. One day, both were at a race and both were bumper to bumper for the 1st place, when suddenly Gus got a problem. When the race was over, it was discovered that Gus had dislocated his semi-axis! He realised the race season was already over for him. Fortunately, Doc said he had learnt a trick from when he was young. Suddenly, Gus' semi-axis was repaired, and he said to Doc he was very good at repairing, and that he should become a doctor if he ever wants to quit from the races, but Doc said that would never happen.
