- "Kurtz is Ryker's right-hand forklift and one of the fastest note takers for the TMST. He mastered shorthand and has been taking copious notes ever since. Kurtz originally aspired to be a court reporter, but he never became proficient with the stenotype machine. So when he got the opportunity to take notes in the field for the TMST, he jumped at the chance to put his speedy skills to use!"[1]
