Mater's Junkyard Jamboree is an attraction at Cars Land. In Mater's Junkyard, guests ride in trailers being pulled and whipped around by baby tractors. Mater's voice will come out of a "junkyard jukebox" singing songs and conducting a big hoedown, encouraging the baby tractors to drive around. The ride system is similar to a hybrid between Francis' Ladybug Boogie and a whip attraction. There are 22 baby tractors in all.
Mater's Junkyard Jamboree Begins Ride Testing at Disney California Adventure Park
The songs include Welcome to Radiator Springs, Radiator Rock, Junkyard Jamboree, Big Bulldozer, Tow Mater (The One You Want to Call), Mater's Square Dance, and Let's Go Driving.
Since 2017, during each Christmas season, the attraction would be temporarily renamed Mater's Jingle Jamboree and Mater would sing Christmas-themed versions of the songs, which include Mater's Jingle Jamboree, Radiator Rockin' Holiday, The Gifts of Mater, Tractors, Tractors, Tractors, Christmas in Radiator Springs, and Seasons Speedings from the Junkyard.[1]
Description
Climb aboard Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and enjoy a "tow"-rific ride. Baby tractors pull a Junkyard cart — with you in it — that gets twirled in time to the tunes broadcast through the magnificent Mater's Junkyard Jukebox. There is also a book with the same name as the ride in "Cars: Rip-roaring Story Pack".
