In Cars, Ralph is one of the thirty-six participants in the Dinoco 400 at the Motor Speedway of the South. He is involved in the accident created by Chick Hicks, during which he is seen hitting Winford Bradford Rutherford and Murray Clutchburn, and while he suffers some minor physical damage, he is still able to continue racing.
