The Rusty Bumper is a bumper store seen in Cars and very briefly in Cars 2. It was visited often in the 1900s, but in the 1960s, when Radiator Springs was off the map, it shut down. Later in Cars and in Cars 2, it is one of the only really old stores that was able to come back. It opens in Cars: Fast as Lightning.

Before and after the 1960s

Before Radiator Springs was bypassed because of Route 40, The Rusty Bumper was an amazing success. After it came back, when Luigi's Casa Della Tires was doing most of all tires and car fixing, some people still went back to The Rusty Bumper. It was defiantly less populated when it came back.

Trivia

  • The name of the highway that bypassed Radiator Springs in 1960 was Route 40.
