T.G. Castlenut or Timothy G. Castlenut is a professional race car who competes in the Piston Cup Racing Series. He is sponsored by Re-Volting, and his racing number is 48, which is 84 flipped.[1]

History

In Cars 3, T.G. competes in the 2016 Piston Cup Season against the likes of Lightning McQueen, Bobby Swift, Cal Weathers, and many others. After Jackson Storm wins the Dinoco 400 at Copper Canyon Speedway, the Re-Volting team fires T.G. and replaces him with a next-generation rookie racer named Aaron Clocker. [2]
