Taj Mahal

Template:LocationThe Taj Mahal is a white marble mausoleum located in Agra, India. It was built by Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, in memory of his third wife, Mutmaz Mahal. The construction began around 1632 and was completed around 1653, employing thousands of artisans and craftsman.

Trivia

• The Taj Mahal was car-ified with an old car grill for the entrance, plugs for the pillars and 2 big headlights in the closing credits of Cars 2. However, it is plane-ified in Planes. Of course, it is inspired by the actual Taj Mahal.
• The name Taj Mahal has 2 translations in other language. For example, Hindi is ताज महल (taj mahaal), and Persian/Urdu is تاج محل (Nastaliq), which literally means "crowns of palaces".
