Name
The novel Cars Origins: Lightning states his real name is Monty McQueen, but was restored back to the more popular name as there is "no source for the name" 1. I Just told the source
2. It clearly says it on the page
Strip Weathers is named on his page by his real name, and McQueen's true name got sourced, so we better change the name back to real or the wiki won't be consistent.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Ironmonger7 (talk • contribs) 19:01, May 6, 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, but many people would probably be unaware of McQueen's real name or would just prefer to call him "Lightning McQueen", especially as the book only came out around the release of Cars 3. And his real name has not even been mentioned in any of the films. --Lightening McQueen (talk) 23:49, May 6, 2018 (UTC)
