Terry competes in the 2017 Piston Cup season in Cars 3. However, as Jackson Storm sparks interest in next generation racers, Terry either retires or gets fired by Triple Dent and gets replaced by a next-generation racer named Cam Spinner.

Trivia

• Early concept art of Terry shows that he was going to have the number 21. Because of this, Cam Spinner (or another Triple Dent next-gen) would have the number 21.
• Terry has the same body as Brick Yardley in the film, but his diecast uses that of Cal Weathers. This was corrected for the 2019 re-release.
