Tow Mater Towing & Salvage, also known as Mater's Tow Yard, is an impound located in Radiator Springs. It is owned and operated by Mater, serving as both his place of business and his residence. Within the impound, there is a modest shack where Mater rests, surrounded by hubcaps used for decoration, oil drums, and a crooked gate. Adjacent to his quaint junkyard shed home and the Radiator Springs Municipal Impound, this locale also serves as the introductory setting for Mater's Tall Tales.
