Hello race fans to the 1986 Piston Cup Season and to the 40th anniversary of the Piston Cup! Here, things are going to be just as interesting as the other 1980s seasons.

Race 1. Florida 500: The Florida 500 had a 2 ½ hours delay because Chick Hicks was SOOOO late! So late that he almost missed the Florida 500. But the crews delayed it for 40 MORE MINUTES!? Yep, the Wide Chick Pitty needed to plump a toilet because a special edition die-cast of Chick Hicks as rookie got stuck in the toilet, so the wide Chick Pitty plumbed it with help of the other plumber cars. But since it took so long, it was delayed for 30 more minutes! WHAT!? Kraig Shiftright was in an interview during pre-race ceremonies on RSN. Kraig replied to the crew, “I knew Chick wasn’t going to do anything bad from the very start. Thank you for the interview, guys.”, and that was Kraig’s answer to the delay that made the fans so angry and cocky that they ATTEMPTED TO RAGE QUIT AND LEAVE THE RACE!!!! Well… that happened to some fans, but most stayed. That remembers him of the 1985 Dinoco 400. Meanwhile, back to the race. There are many lead changes, so most of them will not be mentioned at all. Axle McDrift is on the pole, his first and only Florida 500 in his career before his death two years later. Axle takes the lead first, leading the first four laps, until a similar car who resembles him, Ernie Gearson, passes him on lap 4 ½. This moment was often referenced as “The Two Huskers Show”. But the show will continue with Axle and Ernie! Then, this was the first time Chick Hicks took the lead. He took it on turn 3 on lap 6, almost crashing Ernie and Axle. Another rookie, Alan Carwicki,(based on his real life counterpart) sponsored by Twitter #07, and who resembles Lee Revkins (he will be important in the 1990s), takes the lead for the first time in his racing career on lap 17 of the Florida 500 of 1986. A big crash on lap 42 happened when Alex Quint was spun out by RUSTY WHEELHOUSE!?!? Yes! He pushed him off the track, causing Alex to fly over the wall and flip side over side. Alex missed five races after suffering severe injuries in this intense crash, almost killing Alex. He would have a worse crash in 1988, ending his career and ending the life Don Chapcar. More info about the wreck will be coming in the 1988 season. Then, during a battle for the lead, Neil Brakett was wrecked by JONATHAN MELTER!?!?!?!?!?!?!? OH MY GOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Jonathan stole the lead, causing Neil to get so cocky and angry that he wanted to murder Jonathan and his rival Cole Speedland. Also, yep, that might be kind of inappropriate for younger children, but meh, I don’t care that much about it. Anyway, back to the race. The first time Chick Hicks caused a crash was after crashing Kraig Shiftright. After Chick crashed Kraig, Kraig went spinning and sliding over the guardrail, and then goes flipping end over end and side over side multiple times before coming to a rest on his wheels. Kraig by miracle did not miss any race at all. AT ALL!!!! Congrats Kraig! Now Klint and Kenny will be proud of you! And also your father Kurt and young grandson Kevin. But Ernie Gearson then crashes, causing the “Axle VS Ernie Showtime Battle” to end. AND IT’S ALL BECAUSE OF STUPID FREAKIN’ DALE CRASHHARDT, WHO IS A FREAKING IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT’S YOUR FAULT, LITTLE SPOILED BRAT!!! GET FIRED! GET FIRED!!!! Sorry for the rage, but Dale Earnhardt was such a freaking idiot at this! Wow! Now Axle McDrift’s show will continue with his RIVAL! MATTHEW FILLUPWHEEEEEEEAAL!!!!!! But Dale also crashed Brad Gonzalez, Mike Yankee, and Andrew Axler after the green flag after Ernie’s crash happened. Brad, Andrew, and Mike were involved in the SAME crash. But here comes the interesting part! Rusty Wheelhouse spins Crusty Rotor, but then gets spun by KYLE FREAKIN’ TRACKSON!!!!, who is a real idiot thanks to his cockiness and anger, and HIS CRASHING!!!!!!! A surprising scene happened after Tom Landis ran out of fuel, causing Alloy Wilson to lead. But then, here comes more stuff! Alloy runs out of tires and Klint Shiftright passes him! Alloy Wilson luckily doesn’t have laps down, and takes the lead on lap 191, only to loose it to Cale Yarblowgh. Speaking of which Cale came back after his nightmarous 1985 flip, almost killing him after suffering so many severe injuries, causing him to get surgery and to resemble James Cleanair. Yarblowgh was a slump since 1981, but still won races and pole positions. Dave Laney also takes the lead for the first time in his career by leading lap 224 and the next four. And that’s a rhyme too. But let’s forget about rhymes and continue with the race, because readers will get bored if we talk about stuff we aren’t supposed to talk about. Oh well. But Larry Smith broke the record of most laps led in the race so far by leading 41 LAPS!?!?!? OH MY KLAAAKIN GUUUUUUDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!! On lap 255, Dale Earnhardt crashes #48 Thomas Tanrev. Tanrev was okay, but pretty angry because of what FREAKIN DALE did! C’mon, Dale! Be nice to racers, not COCKY OR ANGRY OR EVEN WORSE, SO FURIOUS THAT YOU WANNA KILL THEM BY SAWING THEM IN HALF WITH A CHAINSAW AND THEN DRINKING HIS OIL!!!!!!!!!! Again, not for younger readers, but if so, forget it. Just forget it. Rusty Wheelhouse bumped Misti Motorkrass off the track on lap 265, while Larry Smith was leading. In team radio, Larry said “I don’t know what the heck just happened!”. His crew chief then replied “Don’t worry, Rusty does that kind of often.”. Larry then replied “Oh okay. Nevermind about that.” and continued with his race. But on lap 270 ½, Larry Smith was overtaken by Alan Carwicki, but ALMOST as Don Chapcar pushes poor Carwicki. Don leads the next 5 laps. Chick Hicks attempted to crash Greg Candyman on lap 78, but he failed, tagged the wall, and was overtaken by Candyman. Chick was in second, but then he crashes Candyman on lap 80. Candyman missed the Nightdona 500, race 2. Guenther replaced him for that race. Then, pole sitter Axle McDrift takes the lead on lap 280 and leads THIRTEEN FREAKIN’ LAPS!!!!!!!!!! During that time, Billy Oilchanger blew a tire and was OUT of the race. Luckily it’s not because a bad racer like rookie Chick, or Dale Earnhardt, or Jonathan and Cole, or Kyle Trackson, ect., did a crash. On lap 380, Chick Hicks leads that lap and the next 21. And during those times, he caused the big one at Florida. That crash involved Rusty Cornfuel, Kevin Racingtire, unsponsored rookie Ruby Oaks (missed Nightdona 500 with his backup, Windshield, taking his place), unsponsored survivor Bobby Carsac, Buddy Braker, and Frank Rallyman (who flipped side over side many times, causing him to suffer major injuries. Frank missed the next six races.). Don Chapcar then did something no one was expecting. He dodged the crash, but he jumped on top of Frank Rallyman and flew! Lightning McQueen did the same thing with Claude in the 2005 Dinoco 400 big one “Dinoco’s All Mine”. Don, because of this, took the lead. Sammy Smelter then took the lead by passing Don on lap 416. Then when Cale Yarblowgh overtook him, he wasn’t out! But will he be out of the race? We’ll find out! But on the mean time, Yarblowgh leads. Kyle Trackson also crashes Claude Scruggs. So Claude is o-u-t. OUT!!!!!! After this, Brush Curber thought it wasn’t cool or nice. So he took the lead from Trackson. He didn’t wreck him, but he passed him angrily. On lap 438, eighth place Dale Earnhardt crashes James Robson. Robson is out. Then the caution came out. But during the pace laps, Strip Weathers passes Brush Curber and leads lap 440 and the next 15 LAPS!!!!! This was because Brush isn’t as fast as The King during the caution pit stops. But on lap 456, he was slow on the track because he blew a tire, causing him to be down four laps! And guess who was in the lead after this incident? Klint Shiftright (booooo!) And then he was passed by girl racer Misti Motorkrass. She’s back after what happened to her with Rusty Wheelhouse. BUT STRIP WEATHERS WAS ON THE LEAD LAP!?!?!? AAAAAAUUUUU MAAIIIIII GUUUUOOOOAAAAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW DID HE!? HE WAS JUST FOUR LAPS DOWN!!!!!!! Well, he wasn’t leader, but he was lead lap. On lap 481, just 19 laps to go, James Cleanair is OUT because AXLE MCDRIFT CRASHED JAMES!?!?!? Oh my god! Why would you do this to him!? And because James crashed, he blew a tire while spinning and then hit the wall a bit hard. James luckily miss any races, LUCKILY ENOUGH!!! And now with 3 laps to go, Strip Weathers was leading until WJ Lights (who was mostly absent from leading) FINALLY takes the lead. He was on his way to winning the Florida 500 for the first time by competing with second place Alan Carwicki for the Florida 500 win. But on the final lap, Alloy Wilson overtakes the two and wins the Great American Race! WJ came second and Alan came third. Chick Hicks did not come in the Top 10, he came in twelfth. Eugene Carbureski came eleventh as well, so Chick became even angrier as of the Nightdona 500.

Race 2: Nightdona 500. Dale Earnhardt is on the pole for the Nightdona 500, leading the first 15 laps of the race before Neil Brakett takes the lead. Taylor Bendy suffers massive injuries after a season-ending crash in which he punctured a tire, went airborne, and flipped side over side before coming to a rest on his roof. It was similar to Kraig Shiftright’s crash a race earlier in the Florida 500. But Chick Hicks is BACK! And even angrier as he leads FORTY THREE LAPS!!!!!!! Now that is bad. Don Chapcar leads the final 10 laps of the Nightdona 500 and he ALMOST wins it because he was beaten in a photo finish by DALE EARNHARDT SENIOR!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, what’s wrong with the #3!?!? And why is he crashing cars angrily like the other mean cars like Kyle Trackson! Well, that will probably be saved for another day. Let’s go to Texas, boys!

Race 3: Texas 300. This was a VERY boring race because The King (Strip Weathers) started on the pole and WON the race. It goes Déjà vu by winning from pole position for races 4-6. Chick Hicks came in the Top 10 in the fifth race, in the meantime. In that same race, Misti Motorkrass suffers injuries after crashing head-on into the wall before turning over and flipping side-over-side several times. Misti missed six races due to this TERRIBLE incident.

Race 7: Neil Brakett starts on the pole and leads most of the race. However, on the final lap, Neil was spun out by DALE EARNHARDT AGAIN!?!?!? What the heck? And due to this, Neil crashed head-on into the wall. And because of this massive crash, Neil misses the eighth race. Dale, on the other hand, won the seventh race with Klint Shiftright in second. The runner-up of the seventh race (Klint) will then win race 8.

Race 9: A rather boring race because Larry Smith won from the pole. At the time, rookie Chick Hicks came in seventh. Chick crashed Billy Oilchanger in that race. Billy hit the wall quite hard and missed four races with his trusty old backup racer replacing him. That backup being Henderson, of course. Jonathan Melter was also involved and missed SIX races because he flipped in the crash. A race later, Chick Hicks takes revenge and won the tenth race. In that race, Chick caused a season-ending wreck for James Robson. James was out for the rest of the season due to severe injuries after going airborne in that wreck.

Race 11: W.J. Lights for #KA Racing #71 takes the win with The King in the 2nd spot. This race was an infamous race called “Nasty Sammy’s #2” after Sammy Smelter draws a number 2 on the racetrack. Cale Yarblowgh was out due to this. Cale was angry at Sammy and Cale said that Sammy is quite a jerk… but we’ll save that story for another day. In the meantime, Haul Inngas from the Netherlands comes in the 2nd spot. And now let’s go to race 12, shall we?

Race 12: The King starts at pole position and leads the first laps of the race. But will he win? The answer is to be revealed! Chick Hicks is fourth that race but not before crashing Matthew Fuelup-Wheel, who misses race 13 after crashing hard into the wall. Even worse, Matthew’s rival Axle McDrift came FIFTH!!!! But the winner? Benny Pitstops! The King comes in third in that race.

Race 13: Dale Earnhardt (the car in black) starts at pole position. He leads the first laps of the race. Bill Racelott comes second in the last five races before race 13, but the winner of race 13? DALE EARNHARDT!!!!!

Race 14: A boring race because The King started at pole position, led every lap, and won. Boooring! How about race 15. Is that more entertaining?

Race 15: Nope, because Alan Carwicki won the race by leading every lap from pole position. The King came third that race.

Race 16: Davey Carllison, a new rookie for Robert Yates Racing in a #28 black Havoline/Texaco paint scheme, wins race 16. This was a bit more interesting than the previous two races because Davey won his first career win that race.

Race 17: This race was known for Chick Hicks causing a two-car crash. Chick won that race. Klint Shiftright is involved and misses one race. Dale Earnhardt Sr. was also involved and missed the next race too. Klint went airborne but didn’t flip until Dale Earnhardt t-boned him and Klint went on his roof. Klint and Dale both have injuries. The two missed one race. But they came back on race 19.

Race 18: Nothing much had happened aside from Alloy Wilson winning after overtaking pole position racer Davey Carllison on the final lap of the race. Davey led every lap except the final lap. And by the way, Davey’s father Bobby was his crew chief. Bobby’s #12 Miller High Life racer. Rusty Wheelhouse came third that race. Rookie Crusty Rotor was fourth. And rounding up the Top 5 is Claude Scruggs.

Race 19. Brickyard 400: Pole winner is Bill Racelott. He led the first 5 laps before Dale Earnhardt Sr. overtakes him on lap 6. Oh boy, interesting stuff is happening! Then, Ernie Gearson leads for three laps only to lose the lead to a car resembling him: Tom Landis. Tom leads a full lap and half of lap 19. Mike Yankee leads laps 19-23. Larry Smith then leads for the next three laps until… oh no… oh no… OH MY FREAKIN’ GOD!!!!! He CRASHED!!!! This was because of Chick Hicks. Larry missed 7 races due to this terrible crash. Chick also stole the lead from Larry Smith. And Larry flipped over in that crash. Wow, so many flips! But that’s another story. Meanwhile, Chick leads the caution laps. But on the restart, Dave Laney is here! He leads from laps 34-36. However, Axle McDrift leads for 9 laps. He tried to lead 10, but failed. Kevin Racingtire was crashed by RUSTY WHEELHOUSE!? What on earth!? Rusty was just in Position 8 when that accident happened! Well, he wanted to be seventh, so that’s why. No more of this. Back to our racing action! Then Don Chapcar leads, then Alan Carwicki, and then Chick Hicks. But all of a sudden, here comes Cale Yarblowgh in a new Husker Morocco look resembling Claude Scruggs! He leads from laps 69-83. But he lost it to Rusty Wheelhouse. LAME! But Rusty was then passed Klint Shiftright. The #121 of Shiftright then gets passed by angry rookie CHICKEN HICKS!!!!!! But then the angry rookie gets passed by Mike Yankee, who leads TEN. FULL. LAPS. That’s right. But then he got passed by Alloy Wilson. But Alloy then gets passed by DALE FREAKIN’ EARNHARDT!!!!!!!!!! Well, at least he didn’t crash him. Then The King passes the angry car in black. Then, Alex Quint passes The King of the Piston Cup! But not so fast, Alexander! You DNF! Why? An engine fire! On lap 143, Eugene Carbureski takes a SLOW pit stop. Due to this, he is from fourth to PLACE FORTY!!!!!!!!!! Eugene has some very bad luck going on right now. Will he still finish the race? We’ll find out! Meanwhile, CHICKEN HICKS leads five full laps. But then he lost the lead to Benny Pitstops, leading for a brief time only to lose the lead to the car in black… DALE EARNHARDT!!! Dale leads 8 ½ laps before Mike Yankee passes the angry car in black. However, Kraig Shiftright, the Intel #12, passes Yankee. But then… DALE EARNHARDT COMES BAAAAACKKK!!!!!!!! And he leads. Slide Powers then gets WREEEEEEEEEEECKED and misses ten races due to severe injuries after touching the wall and jumping it before landing HARD on his roof and on FIRE!!!!! Not as bad as James Robson and Taylor Bendy’s crashes, but still a very bad crash. Chick Hicks then leads before Intel Man Kraig comes back. But the #12 gets passed by Carbon Tele’s superstar: Matthew Fuelup-Wheel. But Matthew was then overtaken by Cole Speedland. Cole leads TWENTY SPECTACULAR LAPS!!! What a run by the #75 car! As of lap 201, Dale Earnhardt was fourth. And at that time, he crashed Brad Gonzalez, Ruby Oaks, and Andrew Axler. Andrew was down ten laps, but Brad and Ruby are out. Back to the race comes Bill Racelott leading five laps only to lose the lead to Kyle Trackson. Don Chapcar TRIED to take the lead. However, things didn’t go so well after he was crashed due to a blown tire. Kyle Trackson made fun of Don’s crash but Don would take revenge on that on the post-race (or in between this race and the next one). Alloy Wilson becomes the next leader, that was until the FUUUURIOOOUS rookie CHICKEN POX HICKEN POX (Chick Hicks) CRASHED HIM!!!!!!!! Due to this, he becomes the new leader until Tom Landis passes Chick only to lose the lead to W.J. Lights #71, but defending rookie of the year winner Murray Clutchburn passes W.J. But the Intel Car is back! That’s right! Kraig Shiftright is back on the track as he becomes the new leader. But he lost it to the Robert Yates rookie: Davey Carllison. Chick Hicks then overtakes Davey in the #28. Five laps later, The King overtakes Chick. But Alan Carwicki comes back! He becomes the new race leader. Well, that was until The King would re-claim his lead only to lose the lead to Bill Racelott, who leads for 3 laps until Chick Hicks, the furious rookie, would re-take the lead for 6 laps. But the Intel Car is BACK. Kraig Shiftright leads 30 LAPS!!!!!! STUNNING! JUST STUNNING!!! But Kraig would sadly lose his lead to Mike Yankee, who leads for 2 laps before losing the lead to Kyle Trackson, who would lead for 1 lap and a half only to lose the lead to Rusty Wheelhouse, who would only lead half a lap. But more and more and more lead changes are happening. James Cleanair leads a lap and a half before getting passed by Alloy Wilson, who would lead one quarter of a lap and the first turn of lap 390 until Chick Hicks leads for the rest of lap 390. This is where things get more interesting than ever! Because The King would lead 2 ½ laps! But The King was later passed by Alan Carwicki. But Alan gets passed by The Intel Car in a #12 paint scheme. Kraig Shiftright that is! Kraig would lead for 3 laps until The King leads for almost the end of the race. But Kraig then passes him on the final lap and leads the first three turns until an upset winner wins race 19. The #70 Gasprin racer wins that race! And Mike Yankee is that car! Kraig comes second after he was bet by inches in the finish line. W.J. Lights somehow managed to come third. And due to this, The King was fourth.

Race 20: After a very interesting race 19, let’s go back to the schedule! Well, this one is not as entertaining. Neil Brakett did win the pole and won the race, so this is considered a boring race.

Race 21: Benny Pitstops won race 21 from the pole and by leading every lap. EVERY lap.

Race 22: Cale Yarblowgh won race 22 despite having a bit of a hard time. He won from the pole and surprisingly led every lap in the race.

Race 23: Ernie Gearson wins race 23 despite leading only the last three laps. This was because pole winner Larry Smith had issues with three laps to go. And yes, Larry led every lap except the last three.

Race 24: Don Chapcar starts on the pole for race 24 and outside the front row is The King. The two swapped the lead several times but Don led the most laps and went on to win the race!

Race 25: Welcome back, angry car in black! Dale Earnhardt Sr. comes back to the lead in the season in race 25, leading the last 11 laps. Dale Sr. WRECKED pole winner Davey Carllison with 11 laps to go, bringing out the only caution of the day, surprisingly.

Race 26: Murray Clutchburn wins a not so interesting race 26 from the pole after swapping the lead a couple of times with The King and Don Chapcar.

Race 27: James Cleanair wins the pole, leads every lap with no problems at all, and WINS race 27.

Race 28: Murray Clutchburn strikes back and he wins the pole for race 28. Dale Earnhardt BLEW a tire during his attempt at crashing Murray. Cole Speedland was almost crashed by Dale Earnhardt but Cole spun and hit the wall, causing him to have serious damages. Due to this, Cole missed the next three races. Strip “The King” Weathers won that race.

Race 29: Next up is race 29, which sees Dale Earnhardt begin on the pole, lead every lap by crashing cars as they attempt to pass Dale, and winning race 29.

Race 30: After race 29 comes race 30, which sees Tom Landis become an upset winner after a surprise win, despite the fact Don Chapcar is the most popular racer at the time.

Race 31: The King wins a boring race 31 from the pole. The final lap was the only interesting thing. Don Chapcar TRIED to make a final lap pass coming out of turn 4 but wasn’t fast enough and came second. However, Don would win the next two races.

Race 34: Three races to go! Race 34 was BOOOOORIIIINNGG!!!!! Because Chick Hicks won.

Race 35: Two races to go! Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Mike Yankee swap places in the entire race. Dale Sr. is on the pole and Mike Yankee is outside the first row. Mike won the race and Dale Sr. came second.

QUICK NOTE: Before I move into the final race, the Dinoco 400, here is the current standings. Don Chapcar is first, The King is second, Mike Yankee is third, Murray Clutchburn is fourth, Cale Yarblowgh is fifth, Alloy Wilson is sixth, W.J. Lights is seventh, Dale Earnhardt is in the eighth spot, and Chick Hicks is ninth. These nine racers are the ones that can mathematically win the 1986 Piston Cup. One interesting fact is that Dale Earnhardt barely made it and is now eighth due to this. Klint Shiftright and Larry Smith were both disqualified for the “1986 Chase for the Piston Cup”, and good thing Tom Landis didn’t do it, because if he won the 1986 Piston Cup, then the fans will be FUUUURIOOOUSSS!!!!!!!!! Well, but they’ll get even angrier if Chick or Dale Sr. won the 1986 Piston Cup. Matthew F. Wheel (or Matthew Fuelup-Wheel) and Kraig Shiftright cannot win the Cup in 1986 either. What’s even worse is that BENNY PITSTOPS ISN’T IN THE TOP 10 IN POINTS STANDINGS!!!!!!! HE’S 18TH!!!! Another big story is that Alan Carwicki is one of the BEST racers ever, but remember, 1986 is just the start. And Chick continues to cheat, crash, and do bad stuff for the rest of his career until he got fired after the 2009 season.

Race 36. Dinoco 400: It’s here. The 1986 Dinoco 400! Larry Smith could not race because of his major accident earlier that year. Murray Clutchburn qualifies on the pole for the 1986 Dinoco 400. He has a great start by leading the first two laps of the 1986 Dinoco 400 only to lose the lead to the cocky Kyle Trackson. Don Chapcar leads for ELEVEN laps after passing Trackson in the #16. Chapcar then lost the lead to Neil Brakett for only two laps before Strip “The King” Weathers overtook the lead from the #57 Vitoline car of Brakett. The King led laps 16 through 23 only to lose the lead to Matthew Fuelup-Wheel. Matthew then got overtaken by rookie sensation Davey Carllison. Three laps later, fan-favorite Alloy Wilson overtakes Carllison. The crowd cheers as Alloy leads the next five laps until Don Chapcar overtook Wilson. Chapcar was also a fan-favorite and Chapcar led NINTEEN LAPS!!!! Incredible job for the #64 Stodgey Suaver resembling Murray Clutchburn (the pole winner of the 1986 Dinoco 400)! Chapcar then lost the lead to Cale Yarblowgh, but Cale only led a lap before losing the lead to James Cleanair. James only led one lap before losing the lead to Chick Hicks. Hicks also wrecked Cleanair and Billy Oilchanger was also taken out of the race due to this. Hicks led the next 13 laps only to lose the lead to Axel McDrift. But then, KLINT SHIFTRIGHT LEADS FOR THE NEXT 23 LAPS!!! That is better than Don Chapcar’s 19 laps led. Shiftright then was passed by Dale Earnhardt and The Car in Black led for only one lap only to lose the lead to Gasprin superstar Mike Yankee. Yankee would lead for two laps before being passed by the only and only… The King! The King led three laps only to lose the lead to Haul Inngas from the Netherlands. Haul led the next 15 laps of the race. On lap 112, Chick Hicks causes a crash taking out Axel McDrift, Cole Speedland and his rival Jonathan Melter, Eugene Carbureski, Ernie Gearson, Andrew Axler (who flipped over after being tagged by Carbureski before Axler went side over side barrel-rolling before coming to a rest on all four wheels.), Claude Scruggs, Kenny Shiftright, unsponsored Bobby Carsac, Greg Candyman, Thomas Tanrev, Billy Ford, rookie Crusty Rotor, Charles Johnson, Brian Johnson, Dave Laney, Don Alternators, Ronald Oaks, Taylor Bendy (was t-boned by Don Alternators), Bill Shields, among many others. Kraig Shiftright and Alex Quint are three laps down while Misti Motorkrass and Sammy Smelter are FIVE laps down (two laps less than the Intel Car and unlucky car 13). Kevin Racingtire was also involved but is EIGHT LAPS DOWN. And Ron Pitcar and Jack Spinner are TEN laps down which is worse than Racingtire. After a long red flag, Don Chapcar comes to the lead from laps 114-117 only to lose the lead to a car resembling him, that car being your pole winner Murray Clutchburn. Murray then lost the lead to The King, who led from laps 122-139 before losing the lead to Clutch Aid superstar Klint Shiftright. Bill Racelott then leads for six laps before Cale Yarblowgh takes the lead from Awesome Bill. Haul Inngas then takes the lead and leads for 14 laps. However, Benny Pitstops takes the lead on lap 182 and leads that lap and SEVENTY FOUR MORE LAPS!!!! During those laps, The King was second from 197-244. Then, Neil Brakett takes over the lead from Re-Volting #55 Benny Pitstops. However, Neil was wrecked by Dale Earnhardt on lap 259 and that causes the #3 car to be in the lead. Rusty Wheelhouse then leads for three laps by overtaking Dale Sr., only to lose the lead to fan-favorite Alloy Wilson. Kraig Shiftright returns to the lead lap at the time Alloy was leading, but out of nowhere comes Don Chapcar passing Alloy. Don would lead from laps 277-288 before losing the lead to W.J. Lights. W.J. led for five laps before Don Chapcar overtook Lights #71. Don overtook Lights by spinning him out. W.J. was okay and continued in the lead lap. Also, there was no caution. Then, Alan Carwicki leads for the first time in the race before he loses the lead to Matthew Fuelup-Wheel before CHICKEN HICKS WOULD LEAD FOR NINE MORE LAPS!!!! Seriously, stop cheating, ya Chicken! But then, Dale Earnhardt, Davey Carllison, and Kyle Trackson would pass Chick Hicks. Trackson attempted to take the lead from Earnhardt but Trackson and Carllison’s tires were blown by EARNHARDT!!!!!!!! Chick Hicks was also taken out and fell a lap down, so his chances of winning the 1986 Piston Cup are shattered into trillions of pieces. Then, Benny Pitstops comes to the lead before Awesome Bill Racelott comes to the lead. Bill led for 13 laps before he lost the lead to Tom Landis, who would lead for a brief lap before losing the lead to Mike Yankee, who led from laps 340-343. Alex Quint returns to the lead lap as well. Mike led for those three laps before he lost the lead to Murray Clutchburn, the pole sitter. BUT MIKE YANKEE COMES BACK TO THE LEAD!!! But Mike lost the lead to Haul Inngas, who has been doing pretty well. As of lap 359, Chick Hicks was 22nd and he caused a crash on that lap. The crash took out Brad Gonzalez. Brad almost hit Dale Earnhardt but missed, speaking of which Dale now takes the lead away from Haul Inngas. Dale leads laps 361-368 before Matthew Fuelup-Wheel returns to the lead by leading the next 11 laps. Matthew then lost the lead to The King, who would lead for five laps before Benny Pitstops took the lead away from him. B.P. led for the next nine laps before losing the lead to pole winner Murray Clutchburn, who leads for the next four laps before Don Chapcar overtakes him. Don on the second turn of lap 397 before losing the lead to Benny Pitstops on the third turn. Pitstops led until it was two to go. However, Pitstops gets passed by Dale Earnhardt and the cocky #3 wins the Dinoco 400 and the Piston Cup! The top 5 is:

1.    Dale Earnhardt #3

2.    Benny Pitstops #55

3.    Alan Carwicki #07

4.    Don Chapcar #64

5.    Chick Hicks #86

NOTES: This season was the first since the 1953 season where a Shiftright failed to finish in the Top 10. The Hudson Hornet won the 1953 Piston Cup, of course. Cole Speedland and Kyle Trackson had bad seasons in 1986, especially Trackson. Ernie Gearson had a TERRIBLE season in 1986. And Jonathan Melter had a NIGHTMAROUS season in 1986.
