Template:LocationThe Wheel Well Motel used to the most popular parade on the Mother Road. When the Interstate 40 was build and the Route 66 got abandoned, the motel did so too. It wasn't until 2005 that the old motel got re-opened by Lightning McQueen and Sally, and was soon converted into a fancy restaurant.

Cars
The motel used to be a very popular stop for visitors. It was closed by lack of clients when the Interstate was built. Years later, it was soon re-opened known as the "Grand Re-opening."

In Cars 2, it is shown to have been turned into a popular restaurant.

- The wheel form of the motel complements the old car shape of the hill where it's built.
- This motel's location is inspired by the Chief Yellowhorse's location in New Mexico.
